Mitch has been teaching a variety of Guitar styles and methods to private students, and group classes since 2002. Mitch likes to use various teaching methods depending on the age, and style of each student. Under his guidance, students are then encouraged to pursue their favorite musical interests.

 

Mitch enjoys, and has experience teaching various styles of music ranging from classical to metal. He also prepares students for Royal Conservatory of Music practical examinations and entrance auditions to post-secondary music programs. Some of Mitch's students have gone on to achieve Royal Conservatory of Music Gold Medals and first place performances in Provincial Music Festivals.

 

His pedagogy includes Suzuki Guitar Method training with the completion of Suzuki Guitar Volumes 1 - 4 and Suzuki Principles in Action courses.

Mitch is currently part of the Music Faculty at Suzuki Charter School and The Conservatory of Music at MacEwan University. He also teaches at Long & McQuade and Prime School of Music.
